to be fair, being an everywhere man has to be hard, yeah he is a pro and has to adjust but being a poorly used starter to cover injury then going and pitching 2 innings in relief then not pitching for 5 days and be misused again has to be hard. when a spot starter doesn't have it and a looming off day, you have to go the pen earlier, we were within 1 run and Tanner was getting rocked. Shocking management

He gave up a ton of groundball hits. Not like they were shooting doubles in the gap. I think they had 16 hits and 15 of them were singles. That happens sometimes.

awful. This is basically the Chiefs' lineup. And that is not a good thing, these guys couldn't even hit down there.

Who cares?  You don't develop prospects in AAA (which is why it's so weird Turner is there).

Ross shouldn't be there either.  You put your top prospects in AAA for the briefest period of time before calling them up to the majors, a few weeks at most.  You don't let them languish in Triple-A.

...especially on a last place team in AAA.

Maybe it is a good thing that Turner is there   ;)

12 hits, 10 outs, one walk, zero Ks for Roark.  If you have a groundball, pitch to contact pitcher, then you are going to have days when groundballs go through at an absurd rate.  This is one of the first of his career.

First inning, didn't get burned, but is was single (grounder) to Hernandez, grounder / safe on SS error for Franco.  Only ball to OF was a fly out.

Second inning, one out grounder scores first run, 4 groundball, 2 out groundball singles in a row score the next 3.

3 inning, got the double play on a grounder to end the inning.

4th inning, he started getting hit harder, with 4 solid contact hits, but only one run-scoring hit was on a liner to the OF (the last one).
